Understanding what to budget for your bathroom renovation
One of the most common questions Melbourne homeowners ask is how much a bathroom renovation will cost. The answer depends on several factors, including the size of your bathroom, the scope of work required and your choice of fixtures and finishes.
For a complete bathroom renovation with quality materials and professional installation, you should expect to invest from approximately $28,000 excluding GST. Ensuite renovations typically start from around $27,000 excluding GST, while laundry renovations begin at approximately $10,000 excluding GST.
These figures include supply and installation of all fixtures and fittings, waterproofing to Australian standards, plumbing, electrical work, tiling and project management. We provide detailed, itemised quotes so you know exactly what is included.
Beware of quotes that seem too good to be true. Very low prices often mean corners will be cut, inferior materials will be used, or you will face unexpected variations once work begins. Our approach is to provide honest, realistic pricing from the start. Learn more about bathroom renovation costs and what factors influence your investment.

I couldn't be happier with the whole process and the end product! I asked Jamie for for an efficient, functional, safe and cost effective ensuite bathroom renovation. As well as the renovation aspect we had specific needs in terms of safety. Consideration was given to layout and placement of grab rails. Tommy and Joe, as well being highly skilled trades people, consulted us through every step to ensure the work was meeting our needs. They were also considerate and delightful people to have working in our home. Jamie and team were reliable in terms of time frames, arriving when they said they would and completing the job within the quoted time frame. The end result - an aesthetically pleasing, functional, safe, ensuite bathroom!

We have just finished a bathroom renovation with Victorian Bathrooms. It really is my dream bathroom. A big thank you to Jamie who did the design and helped so much with the process. Tommy and Joe were such hardworkers, very professional, considerate and consultative. Couldn't have asked for more. The fitout of the amenities and the tiling are top notch. The bathroom looks amazing. A very big thank you to everyone that made it happen. Highly recommend this company.
